This year was the second year that TechCrunch organized its innovation summit event in Shenzhen. This year’s moto was “Reshaping Innovation” and it was held in an amazing venue, the Shenzhen Bay Innovation Mall.

Besides the rich agenda of interesting speeches in multiple stages, one the main features was Startup Alley, a special section of the event acting as a platform for international startups to showcase their new and novel ideas. Startup Alley featured booths for more than 150 startups covering currently trending topics such as: AI, Blockchain, AR/VR, IoT, Women in Tech, Gaming and Education.

nm_design attended the event, showcasing time² at Startup Alley’s booth B20. Similar to what we had experienced last month on Maker Faire Shenzhen 2018, visitor response was overwhelming.

Booth visitors had the chance to check working samples of time² and most of them wanted to buy the samples then and there! We got some very positive comments on the design and some really good feedback about releasing more models with different languages, size and type of wood.

The event was also very interesting networking-wise, as we got to meet quite a few investors and distributors that were interested in us.

All in all, it was an amazing event, and we want to thank TechCrunch for the excellent hosting and everyone who honored us by visiting our booth!
